How to Play: Image Puzzle Challenge

Welcome to the Image Puzzle Challenge! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to turn your favorite photos into fun, interactive sliding puzzles.

1. Getting Started

Before the fun begins, you need to set up your puzzle. It only takes a few clicks!

Step 1: Upload Your Image

• Click the “Choose Image” button.

• Select any image file (like a .jpg, .png, etc.) from your computer or phone.

• You will see the name of your chosen file appear next to the button.

Step 2: Choose Your Difficulty

• Click the dropdown menu that says “Medium (4×4)” by default.

• Select how challenging you want the puzzle to be:

  • Easy (3×3): A great place to start.

  • Medium (4×4): The standard challenge.

  • Hard (5×5): For those who want a tougher test.

  • Expert (6×6): For true puzzle masters.

Step 3: Start the Game

• Once you’ve selected an image and a difficulty, click the big “Start” button.

• The puzzle will be created and automatically shuffled, and the game will begin!

2. How to Play

The goal is simple, but solving it is the fun part.

The Objective Your goal is to reassemble the original image by sliding the tiles back into their correct positions. There is one empty space on the board that allows you to move the other tiles around.

Making a Move

• To move a tile, simply click on any tile that is directly next to the empty space (either above, below, or to the side of it).

• The tile you clicked will slide into the empty space.

• Each time you slide a tile, your “Moves” count will go up by one.

3. Understanding the Game Screen

The screen has a few key areas to help you track your progress.

• Moves Counter: Located at the top of the puzzle area, this shows you how many moves you’ve made so far. Try to solve the puzzle in as few moves as possible!

• Timer: Next to the moves counter, the timer shows how long you’ve been playing the current puzzle. It starts automatically when the game begins.

• The Puzzle Board: This is the main area where you’ll see your scrambled image tiles.

4. Winning the Game

You’ve done it! When all the tiles are in their correct original positions, you’ve won.

• The timer will stop.

• The final missing piece of the puzzle will appear, revealing your complete photo.

• A “You Win!” message will pop up to congratulate you on your success.

To play again, simply choose a new image or a different difficulty and press “Start”!
